The Tarján Singing Club was founded in 1980 with the aim of preserving and passing on the old German folk songs that could still be found in Tarján, a Hungarian-German settlement in Hungary. The choir performs regularly at local, nationwide and foreign events, especially local Advent performances. The songs are sung in both German and Hungarian.
