The singers of the Persephone Choir have been performing both sacred and secular music for a good 30 years, with a repertoire ranging from Renaissance and classical to contemporary and pop. Exciting choir projects in recent years have included Fauré’s Requiem in Vienna and Mariazell, Christmas concerts with orchestra, as well as Carmina Burana and Carmina Austriaca in Gars am Kamp. Alexander John Riaño took up the post of choirmaster in January 2024 and enjoyed success with a “Musical World Tour” in June. A tango mass is planned for June 2025.
