The Novato choir with its 20 singers was founded in 2006 in Nykarleby in Finland by music teacher Maria Timoschenko. Simon Granlund has been the choirmaster since 2015. Annual concerts, participation in choir festivals in Finland and Europe, dinner shows with popular music themes. The repertoire is varied and includes folk songs, pop songs, choral works and gospel. One of the first festivals the choir performed at was the International Advent Singing in Vienna in 2014, which is why this year’s participation marks a 10-year anniversary.
