MUSIC FAIR writes music history… and even a little bit of church history. Founded in 1979 by Herbert Fritsche, MUSIC FAIR was originally the youth choir of the parish of Jedlesee in the 21st district of Vienna. Over the past few decades, the choir has provided musical entertainment at many trade fairs, festivals and weddings, as well as giving many a concert, both accompanied by bands or on the piano, and even a cappella. While MUSIC FAIR was long a mixed choir, nowadays, it focuses on female voices, and choir leader, Claudia Kopal (since 2008), inspires and leads “her girls” with considerable drive and vigour!
