The E8 Choir is a young choir made up of students in Vienna whose goal is to make music have an extraordinary impact. It performs in the streets, at choir festivals, sings specially arranged works, and takes part in musical competitions. The choir’s performances often address topics of civic engagement and stand up against social injustices. E8 stands for where the choir rehearses, the Catholic University Community, whose address is Ebendorferstrasse 8. It has become the choir’s home and grown close to the singers’ hearts.
