In April 2003, a group of young and experienced singers gathered for its first concert in Spillern in Lower Austria, aptly titled “Sing, Swing and Soul – Music from around the World”. The title became the name of the choir and “Music from around the world” its motto. It performs a repertoire of modern choral music, spirituals, traditional songs from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, traditional German folk songs, German-language pop songs and hits from film and television. SingSwingSoul has been a registered choral society since 2018 and a member of the Choral Society of Lower Austria since 2021.
