Founded in 2011 as a student choir in somebody’s living room, Chor X has been providing youthful freshness, passion and nonchalance to Vienna’s choir scene for more than 10 years. The ensemble’s guiding principle is simple: anyone who wants to sing can join. Nobarriers. No stage fright. No stress. “It means we can proudly pronounce: we’re one of Vienna’s youngest choirs (after the Vienna Boys’ Choir).” True to the motto “Chor X is love, Chor X is life” it is the “choirmmunity” and the joy of singing in the choir – and a certain penchant for puns – that unites the singers.
