Chor Osttirol – the East Tyrolean Choir – was founded in Vienna in 2015 and is led with enormous commitment by Daniel Csefalvay. Its repertoire includes traditional folk songs in addition to secular and sacred songs dating from the Renaissance to modern times. For the past two years, Chor Osttirol has also been performing with the newly founded Wiener Gesangsverein, another choir led by Daniel Csefalvay. The Wiener Gesangsverein emerged from the concert choir of the male-voice choir “Wiener Männergesang-Verein”, which very successfully performed the Verdi and Mozart Requiems at the Musikverein.
