Cantaremos was founded in 2016 and has since been led by Luis Carlos Muñoz Segovia. Many of the singers have years of experience performing Latin American music as part of the Latin American choir Canto Alegre. Cantaremos aims to promote art and culture in both choral and Latin American music and to contribute to a cultural exchange between Europe and Latin American countries. The choir primarily sings songs in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Creole, but also enjoys exploring the musical traditions of other continents.
