The ÖAW choir, made up of staff at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and their friends and relatives, was founded in the spring of 2023. In Magdalena Bögl, the choir was able to engage a highly motivated and motivating expert in her field, who quickly succeeded in creating a harmonious sound. The choir’s first successful concerts at the Jesuit Church and at St. Gertrud’s Church were testament to its rapid progress, with members united not only by their love of singing together, but also by the friendly atmosphere.
